Dot to Dot Art Workshop is a joyful, dynamic, supportive, and welcoming space. It is our mission to provide a safe environment for students to engage in meaningful art experiences that value the process over the product. Our ability to offer both professional art instruction and gentle guidance fosters creative thinking and confidence in the students' own work. Classes are designed to be developmentally appropriate, building skills and breadth of knowledge of different techniques. We also explore the role art plays in our lives. We believe art can uplift, connect, celebrate, and make change!
In our studio the process of education is never limited to one form of art. Students can hone their skills with drawing, play with light and color in painting, or construct and manipulate shapes in a sculpture. They can explore collage to connect texture and pattern, or pick up a sewing needle and start working with fibers. Artists can explore the process of printmaking, or can investigate mixing a variety of mediums in a multimedia art experience. All art lessons are designed to ensure children will have fun while developing creative thinking skills, fine motor skills, perseverance, and cultural awareness. We strive to fuel the fire of creativity so that our students will hold a lifelong love of the arts.
