Summer at Dot to Dot Art Workshop

Small groups by design. Thoughtfully guided. Creativity that grows over time.

Our summer programs are designed to give kids more than just something to doโ€”
they offer a space to create, explore, and grow.

At Dot to Dot, children work in small groups with thoughtfully curated materials and guided support from an experienced art educator. Each week is built around imaginative themes that spark creativity while helping kids build confidence, independence, and connection.

Whether your child joins us for a week or the whole summer, theyโ€™ll be part of a studio experience that values both process and growth.

โœจ What Makes Our Summer Programs Different

  • Small groups by design (not high-volume camps)

  • Led by a licensed art educator

  • Thoughtfully planned themes and experiences with depth

  • A balance of guidance and creative freedom

  • A focus on confidence, friendships, and creative voice

โœจ CAMP CULTURE

Art Club is designed to feel creative, relaxed, and joy-filledโ€”a place where kids can be themselves, follow their curiosity, and feel a strong sense of belonging.

Our studio culture is:

  • Playful and welcoming

  • In flow, with space to linger, explore, and dive deep

  • Process-focused, yet purposeful

  • Rooted in creativity, connection, and confidence

Children are encouraged to take risks, experiment, collaborate, problem-solve, and use their imaginations freely.

We embrace a process-art philosophy while also supporting kids in creating work they feel proud to bring home.

๐ŸŽจ THE CURATED STUDIO ENVIRONMENT

Art Club takes place in our thoughtfully designed studio, offering multiple ways to create, connect, and recharge throughout the morning.

Children move fluidly between:

  • Main Studio Experience โ€” guided projects and collaborative work

  • Open-Ended Creative Play Area โ€” loose parts, building, and imaginative exploration

  • Cozy Reading & Rest Area โ€” books, soft seating, and quiet moments

  • Self-Serve Choice Stations โ€” drawing, making, and independent work

  • Collaborative Work Spaces โ€” creating alongside friends

This balance allows each child to engage at their own pace and in their own way.

๐Ÿ•˜ A SAMPLE DAY AT ART CLUB

Each day follows a gentle rhythm rather than a rigid schedule:

  • Welcoming soft start โ€” settle in, connect, and create

  • Ice-breaker or collaborative warm-up

  • Main art project or guided exploration

  • Lunch & social break

  • Continued work or extension of the project

  • Open-ended choice time & creative play

  • Community clean-up

We value flow, flexibility, and responding to the energy of the group.
